Culture? Check.
In the first five days of the year I watched „Dogville“, which after initial doubt turned out to be much, much better than I actually expected, the 1959 movie version of „Die Buddenbrooks“, which also was really good and has Liselotte Pulver, who – I admit – I just love, love, love watching and patiently sat through six hours of Wagner opera.
All in all I think that I’ve done my share of high quality culture for this year and can happily watch guilty pleasure shows and read whatever pleases me for the rest of the year.
