Further Tasks Accomplished
1. We went to the jazz concert and it was great. We couldn’t get in through the front door since it was blocked by other people’s backs, so we went around to the back and had the owner let us in through the backdoor. Isn’t that freaking cool? We were like V.I.P.’s. I still have no idea what the band looked like or how they ever managed to fit 80 people into their tiny pub.
2. I decided to start with ‚Mystic River‘ by Dennis Lehane as my next book. Which also means that it will be another couple of days before I can finally start one of those great children’s books I bought.
3. I slept in. Amazingly this wasn’t a problem at all.
4. I watched two episodes of Smallville. Unfortunately considering the mass of episodes I still have to watch of all my other shows that doesn’t count as catching up yet, but it’s a start.
On the bad side, I didn’t write a thing for the nanowrimo and since it’s already past midnight I don’t think it’s going to happen today. I also didn’t manage to do nothing. What a shame. I also didn’t manage to sent out mixes, which mostly has to do with the fact that I slept in and the post office closes at noon at Saturdays. Sorry, srah.
I did talk to Caitlin via IM for more than an hour, though. Now she has to go eat something and I have to go to bed. Time differences are weird.
